A Stucco Contractor That Diagnoses First

Plenty of crews can trowel a finish coat. Fewer can tell you why the wall failed and what has to change so it does not fail again. That is the work we have specialized in since 1999.

Why a specialist

Stucco is a trade, not a side job

General contractors, painters and handymen often take on stucco work as one item on a longer list. The trouble is that stucco and EIFS failures rarely start in the finish. They start at a window head with no flashing, a sealant joint that lost adhesion, a weep screed buried under mulch, or a kick-out that was never installed. Fixing the surface without fixing those details is how the same wall gets repaired three times.

Advanced Stucco Repair, Inc. was established in 1999 by Darrin Straub as a stucco and EIFS company, and that is still what we do every day. Our staff take continuing education from manufacturers and industry leaders, and years of warranty repair work led to our selection as one of a few MoistureFree Guaranteed Contractors for MoistureFree Warranty.

We work for homeowners and for property managers, boards and general contractors. Browse our residential and commercial services, or read about the company on About Us.

Everything in one place
Comparing bids

Read a stucco bid line by line

Two quotes for the same wall can differ widely, and the cheaper one often leaves out the part that matters. Ask every contractor what happens if they open the wall and find wet sheathing, how they will handle flashing at the windows, and whether the finish will be color matched or simply painted over.

A bid that says only “repair stucco, paint to match” tells you very little. A useful one names the area, the layers being replaced, the flashing and sealant work, and how changes get approved. We write ours that way, and we are glad to walk you through it.

Questions & answers

Hiring a stucco contractor

What owners and managers ask when they are choosing who to hire.

How long has Advanced Stucco Repair been in business?
We were established in 1999, so we have more than 25 years of stucco and EIFS work behind us. Darrin Straub founded the company and remains its President.
Why are stucco bids so different from each other?
Usually because they cover different work. One may include opening the wall, replacing wet substrate and correcting flashing, while another only covers the surface. Compare the scope, not just the total.
Where are you located and what areas do you serve?
We are headquartered in Canton and serve Metro Atlanta and North Georgia, plus Macon, Columbus, Athens and Calhoun. See our service areas.
Do you work as a subcontractor for general contractors?
Yes. We work with general contractors and builders on commercial and residential projects, coordinating our stucco and EIFS scope with the rest of the schedule.
What are your office hours?
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. You can reach us at (888) 592-1304 or through the form at any time.
